The appartment is in a great location, very easy to walk around and easy to find restaurants. It was clean and spacious, everything sounds new. Hosts provided detailed directions and place to park around (that was convenient). We had a great time.
This place was perfect for a one-night stay in Viejo San Juan. The address is just within steps of incredible cafes, breakfast spots, restaurants, bars, and shopping. It was the ideal place to stay and I am excited to return and stay here again!
There was a bit of noise at night from the surrounding houses but nothing earplugs can’t fix! Other than that everything was amazing, there’s a gas station a few steps away which was very convenient. House was charming & comfortable, thank you!

Is it really cheaper to book direct?
Yes. The same homes sit on Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com at a markup — around 15% on Airbnb, 20% on Vrbo and Booking.com. Booking here removes it. On a week that is usually a few hundred dollars.
When do I pay?
Your dates are held the moment you book, and you pay on the next step. Nothing is charged before you confirm, and you have 24 hours to complete payment before the dates go back on sale.
Are the calendars accurate?
They are live. Every home is also listed on the big platforms and availability syncs within seconds, so a date shown as open here genuinely is.
Who am I booking with?
RentInPR — Puerto Rico owned, hosting on the island since 2015, Superhost since 2020. Not an agency reselling someone else's inventory.
Do I need a car in Puerto Rico?
Not if you are staying in Old San Juan — it is a walking city and parking is genuinely difficult. For Luquillo, Dorado, El Yunque or the west coast, a car makes the trip far easier. Condado and Santurce sit in between: walkable locally, a car helps for day trips.
What is the best area to stay in San Juan?
Old San Juan for history, restaurants and nightlife on foot. Santurce for the art, murals and where locals eat. Condado for the beach with a restaurant strip attached. Isla Verde if you want sand and a short airport run.
Is Puerto Rico expensive?
Less than most of the Caribbean, and no passport is needed for US travellers. Our homes start around $60 a night and a typical night is about $241. Booking direct removes the platform fee on top of that.
Do you allow pets?
Some homes do. Use the pet-friendly filter to see only the ones that welcome dogs — the badge on each listing is taken straight from that property's own rules.
How far in advance should I book?
For December through April, and for Easter and the San Sebastián festival in January, book several months ahead. Summer and autumn are far easier and often cheaper.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Each home carries its own cancellation policy, shown before you confirm. If payment is never completed, the hold simply expires after 24 hours and nothing is charged.
Are the photos the actual home?
Yes. Every photograph on this site is of the home it appears on, taken at that property. Only the travel-guide and area images are licensed stock, and those never appear on a listing.
